- Ability to communicate and collaborate inside and outside your organization, backed by a highly secure, global infrastructure from Microsoft.
Meet one-on-one for up to 30 hours or with a group for up to 60 minutes in the free version of Teams. Upgrade to Teams Essentials for group meetings of up to 30 hours.
Up to 100 people can join a meeting in the free version of Microsoft Teams.
Get more value out of Teams when you upgrade to Teams Essentials or to a paid plan, including:

Anyone with any corporate or consumer email address can sign up for Teams today. People who don’t already have a paid Microsoft 365 commercial subscription will have access to the free version of Teams. If a user at an existing Microsoft 365 commercial customer tries to sign up for free, they will be routed into the managed Teams experience for their organization. If the user doesn’t yet have a license for Teams as part of their organization’s Microsoft 365 plan, they will be routed to the Microsoft Teams Exploratory experience for free until next agreement anniversary or renewal on or after January 2021. 1. Once your paid subscription begins, cancelation policies vary based on your status as a new customer, product, and domain selections on Microsoft. Learn more. Cancel your Microsoft 365 subscription at any time in the Microsoft 365 admin center. When a subscription is canceled, all associated data will be deleted. 2. After your one-month free trial, you will be charged the applicable subscription fee. Credit card required. Cancel any time to stop future charges.
3. This plan works with Office 2021, Office 2019, Office 2016, and Office 2013. Previous versions of Office, such as Office 2010, may work with Microsoft 365 with reduced functionality. This compatibility with Office does not include the Office 365 F3 plans.
